"A-Channel Morning" (8/2/2005)

The New VI was re-branded as A-Channel on August 2, 2005. The morning show, "New Day", was also renamed "A-Channel Morning". The morning show no longer has a separate look from the station's other newscasts; they all use the same graphics and music. However, it does have its own distinct open animation.

Screenshots from the first "A-Channel Morning":

The open. The open. The open. The open. The open. The open. The open. The open. The open. Adam Sawatsky, introducing viewers to the renamed show. Astrid Braunschmidt with the news headlines and weather. The regional forecast. Adam and Astrid, who's getting used to the new chair. Stephanie Beaumont, live at the graphics store where the station's getting its live trucks made over. The sat truck's been completely stripped of its VI logos. The new design for the sat truck. And the computer program that the company uses. The new split screen. Stephanie shows us her vision for an ideal news vehicle. The contact info full-screen. Stephanie actually applies some of the decal onto the truck. A different style of the split screen. The copyright caption. Looks like The New VI wasn't quite dead yet...
